We are aware of the problem causing some servers to crash and are working on a fix. We hope to have it patched as quickly as possible.

Hopfully the servercrashing will be fixed soon :/

The high jump and explosives exploits are our top priority fixes. They're being worked on today and we hope to have them fixed this week.

Look out for this patch in the next couple of days:
 
Performance and Tech fixes
• Fixes to loading screens
• Server Performance Fixes
• NPCs should be less jittery when rotating
• A fix for connecting to servers via the Steam server browser and when using Steamconnect
• Buildings should now load in much faster
• Placeables placed on foundations and ceiling tiles will now be saved correctly
• Several improvements to how rocks behave when they are harvested

 
General Bug Fixes and improvements
• Small Placeables will no longer claim land (!)
• NPC Camps now have their own land claim to prevent people from building so close to them that they stop spawning NPCs (!!)
• You should no longer get phantom duplicates in the wheel of pain
• T2 Altars should no longer disappear
• Surrender should no longer break early when using fists
• Removed invisible collision that was blocking a certain chest in the world
• Arrows will now longer shoot in “Random crazy directions”
• Ranged weapons should now always fire correctly
• Rhinos should no longer try to walk through players
• Palisades will now correctly deal damage on contact
• Palisades should now be easier to place
• Fixed a case where players were able to destroy rocks with their fists. Sorry, but this privilege is reserved only for Conan himself.
• Fixed an issue where interactable objects would spam “Press E to interact” on the GUI
• Added an arrow to many placeables to help players orient them correctly
• The Offering of Mitra recipe now correctly requires 1 human heart and 1 unblemished meat
• Fixed an issue with stair placement detection
• The Gong and the Horn will now be audible over greater distances
• Added new emotes that can be learned by tracking down Story NPCs and getting them to teach you

 
Balance and Gameplay Fixes
• Some feat requirements have been simplified or removed. For example, it is now possible to learn Journeyman Craftsman as soon as you hit level 10. Due to the impact of this change all players have gotten a free feat respec.
• Ansel will now respect collision preventing people from moving through walls and other structures
• Non Admins will be restricted to 2 meters of movement when using Ansel 
• Balance pass on Bows. Simple Bow range has been increased, Hyrkanian Bow range has been dramatically increased. Crossbow range has been reduced but they now shoot much faster
• We have done an overhaul on what monsters can damage which tier of buildings. If you haven’t upgraded from sandstone you might want to think about doing that.
• Increased crafting XP across the board with greater increases for crafting more complex (higher tier) items
• Inverted Wooden Roof Wedge and Stonebrick Frame now require Journeyman Craftsman instead of Master Craftsman
• Black rocks in the starting desert are now harvestable
• Higher grade tools will now yield higher amounts of secondary resources (Bark/branches)
• Resetting your Knowledge Points will no longer cause you to lose your selected religion
• Removed Corruption sources from starting area caves
• Removed the Regen component from Purified Meat. This perk is reserved to Mitra's Ambrosia and Healing Potions. Purified Meat is still an extremely good food source
• Player corpses can only be harvested for religious purposes once every 30 minutes
• Balance pass on the amount of materials requires for basic chemistry potions
• Armor drops removed from chests
• Emus will now give less XP

 
Visual Improvements
• The Dogs of the Desert finally got their uniform shipment and will be donning their new outfits
• Visual adjustment to the Medium Tasset to reduce clipping issues
• Visual adjustments to the Setite Choker and Shendyt to reduce clipping issues
• Updated Cutlass and Falcata icons
• Visual flair added to several hairstyles
• Visual improvements to female heads

I think you should be allowed to remove stairs, there is no way for new players to protect themselves otherwise.
I agree with others that people could abuse it as well if there was a rule, by destroying peoples stairs and reporting them

Here is my suggestion for this problem ;

For the best of all of us playing on this server, i think we should let the developers do their job.

They will find a way to address this problem without any way or form to abuse it.

The game is still in Alpha after all.

Samael and Tess is drama queens according to you Duvan?
I was against the rule as soon as i heard of it. Check your fact before you call someone out.
We have been told by several people that they wanted us to switch server, thats why we are here. 
I told Wurre yesterday that we didnt want any drama or anyone getting banned for griefing.
We have been through this before and we will survive another time.
Im really looking forward to many hours of good pvp.

Yes Shooter we agree with ur arguements. But a rule like this might get abused and can be hard to controll.
You still have to remember that this is an early alpha game and we dont have many admin tools atm.

We want to make sure that we can follow and mantain the rules we have.
Do you have any ideas on how we could stop all the loop holes around a rule like this?

For example, whats written higher up in this post. If someone destroys your stairs while your offline, screenshots it and sends it to the admins telling us ur breaking the rules.
That you removed ur stairs when u logged out to provent urself from getting raided. People could frame you with a rule like this.
There is no way we would know if he was the one destroying the stairs to frame you or if you actually broke a rule.

This is deffenetly something we are looking into atm. We want more sugesstions and feedback regarding this topic.

Don't have that rule it is to easy to use that rule to get someone banned for nothing. (I can just go and destroy someones staris and take a print screen and send to admin and say that they have taked it away)

7. We won't allow griefing to the extreme. This means proventing someone to gain any progress in game.
8. No foundation spamming! Dont claim land by placing foundations.
9. Don't place structures that would prevent other players to expand their base!
Be nice to newcommers! Remember, we want to keep this server active

We care allot about our players and are allways open for sugestions on improvement. We want you to be happy!

Hello everyone.
As everyone know we play on a pvpve server. I do beleive I understand the meaning of this, but im not sure. I was thinking that I should share my view of it and hopefully other people will share what they feel about it.
If I have understood it correctly then the pve part is about exploring the game, hence why we have rules about blocking caves etc. We also have rules about farming players bases etc. To my understanding farming someone is when you do it for days not killing someone multiple times the same day. The pve part is ofc also all the farming that we all do.  Picking stones is great fun.
The pvp part in my eyes is about fighting with each other. There can by fight over a airdrop, a cave with loot or when attacking each other bases. The pvp can be about trying to get ahold of your "enemies" resources or loot. It can also be about hindering someone to efficently farm their nades. Killing someones dinos is also a huge factor in a pvp aspect. That can be preparing work for an incoming or outgoing raid.
There is some big tribe and there is some small tribes, there are also some people that play all alone. In my opinion then there is also alot of diffrent strategies to be used when pvpve:ing. Some people have to offline raid to even have a chance. Some people are sneaky bastards and infiltrate  And some are just plain bulldozing their way towards their foes. Etc etc.
In a survival game like ark I do think that you have to adapt to your "power atm" and fight the way that suits U. 
For me all above and tons more has its place in ARK.
Trashtalking and being rude tho is in my eyes unnecessary.
What do you guys think about pvpve?
All above is my opions only and nothing is a universal facts. Pls share your opinions on the subject.
