Message given: Battleye Kicked off game (Scripting Mass Ban) Why I should be unbanned: I did not run any malicious code or hack or cheat script at all. The only thing I can think of is I had other mods installed and tried to get into your server with them still loaded. I remember a few months ago I was trying out mods like the @hemp ( which puts hemp plants in the map) got it from armaholic & others like @breaking point & @ epoch. It seemed whenever I had these loaded it would not let me into any servers in Altis life. So I took them out and was able to rejoin but was never able to rejoin yours. Also since Asylum put their ban list out and other servers are using it could be from theirs. I'm going through the process with them as well. I've been banned only yesterday from seal team sloth which is my primary server. I have been playing on there for about 6 months and Ledd Zepp (ADMIN) unbanned me because I know him and a few guys over there. He said it was probably due to the mods. Again I am a good trustworthy player in the community. I would just like to say it has to be from the mods because I have NEVER installed any cheat or script to hack EVER! I love this game and would never do anything to make it unrealistic. I've been playing Arma since ARMA 1. I have also got 4 of my friends to buy the game just to play with me. I am no hacker. Thanks for your time and I hope I can get off the list. Proof: The only proof I have would be for one of you guys to test the @hemp, @breakingpoint & @epoch to see if it causes scripting errors. Also take into account that this ban is from months ago and if your banning software has been updated to not ban people for having mods installed then my ban is invalid. One more thing. That @hemp is something that I would suggest putting in your server. It puts pot plants on the map so instead of picking random trees from pot it is actually a pot plant. And any decent BE-admin knows how to read those logs. After investigating this matter i have to ask you to come back with information (including transcript) of how it went with the Asylum ban as that is the source of your GUID being on Altis community banlists and post. Also, you are on two of my friends Altis servers with following being triggered by you: Bacca (xxxxxxx) 6caecba1c5c6df799XXXXXXXX - #X " DP_XXXXXXX 'while{true} XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX [] spawn BIS_fnc_endMission; " X:ing out the stuff that the public dont need to know. Do you mind explaining that part? As thats why i chosed to add you to our banlist and not exclude it. its not an addon or anything like that. thats a true code for trying to end the mission for all the players. a script that is actively being triggerd by the client/user (addons kick you when you are logging in). Edit: oh, i forgot to add the servers you triggerd this command on, ill send them in a PM to you (so it dosent look like PR ;P). I think I'm banned because everyone is using the Asylum List but I have no idea. I have opened a support ticket with BattleEYE directly so hopefully they can shed some light here. I have not heard back from Asylum yet. I keep checking their forum but nothing yet. I'll check again today. I do not know what any of that is. The only thing I have ever done is login with other mods and that's it. I am an honest player and this sucks because it's causing me much grief and giving me a bad name. Could I have been hacked in any way? Could a hacker take control of my id because I swear to you I don't even know what that script is. It has to be that because I have never scripted anything ever. How can I test my box for this? Would a format reinstall even matter? I read on google the only way to get unbanned from battleye is to buy another copy of Arma3 but that makes no since. I would be back in all servers Unbanned for just $29 but then I could get hacked again. I did not run these scripts so I hope there is a way to figure this out. Buying Arma again is not the proper way to unban someone. It's only a way to extort money for the profits of Bohemia. Please let me know the best way to resolve this. There is cases where something can be executed towards someone but in this particular case and with this specific line of code, its not! In this specific line (i Xxxxx:ed out all the details as mention earlier) its something that you actively clicked (menu). Keep me posted on how it goes with your talks (via PM) and ill lock this thread and move it to declined.
