Låt oss säga att vi är på jakt efter polisvästar eller polisvapen, det absolut snabbaste är att bara säga "You have offended the honor of my house, die scum!", skjuta och ta gearet, och därför finns denna regeln. Vi måste ge dem ett val som de kan eller följa eller inte följa, och situationen måste spegla det valet de gör. Ett val betyder dock INTE att man måste säga "Gör X eller Y", det räcker med att säga "Gör X", valet ligger i bristen på att följa kommandot. Man måste inte säga "Vill du åka karusell inte eller åka karusell" för att där ska vara ett val 2: För att motivera till mer rollspel på servern. Vi spelar alla förhoppningsvis arma för att vi tycker det är roligt att engaga andra människor, på våldsamt ELLER icke våldsamt sätt. Varför jag anser att man inte behöver applicera appendixet "annars dör du" på varje mening 1: Det behövs inte när situationen som sådan grovt insinuerar det redan. Låt mig illustrera vad jag menar; Vi tar meningen "Upp med händerna annars skjuter jag", du säger inte "med kulor från mitt vapen" i den meningen även om det är det som kommer hända. Varför gör du inte det? För att varje kotte du någonsin spelar med förstår att det är en naturlig fortsättning på den meningen. Det jag advocerar är precis samma sak gäller "annars skjuter jag". Om du står framför någon med vapen siktat mot dem och säger "upp med händerna", så insinuerar situationen vad som kommer hända om du inte följer anvisningarna. Du behöver såklart inte göra det, men då är också valet gjort 2: Olika situationer kräver olika mängder rollspel. I denna situationen du har lagt upp banrequest för krävdes egentligen noll rollspel, vi hade fortfarande KoS på er sen engagen på bron som Linus länkade i denna tråden, och anledningen till att vi inte använde den var att ni var obeväpnade och vi ville rollspela. Vi lät till och med medicen ressa dig för att få till ett kul rollspel men istället för att vara med och ha lite kul valde han att springa runt bilen trots otaliga uppmaningar att sänka sin pistol och försöka få ett skott tillfälle på mig. INGEN av dessa är dock applicerbar på våran situation, vi ville inte råna dig, döda dig eller kidnappa dig utan bara inte bli random skjutna av dig och bad dig därför plocka bort pistolen. Istället för att reagera på ett någorlunda vettigt sätt valde du att springa runt och försöka få ett bra tillfälle att skjuta vilket är helt legit, men det konstiga med det är denna ban requesten efteråt som symboliserar det värsta med Arma 3 Altis Life, folk lägger inte upp ban requests för att de vill att vissa beteenden ska bort från servern för att det ska bli roligare att spela, utan genom någon nazisttolkning av reglerna vilket OM applicerat gjort det tråkigare för alla.

It's very interesting that you choose not to include the 5 times you were told to put your gun down, the time i told you to put it away because i just want to talk, or that your friend pulled out a gun and tried to rob our hemt just before We have videos of that first part though!, will upload if necessary (although i doubt it will be)

What do you suggest we do then mr smartypants? Should we stand there screaming "your car smells of daisies" as you swoosh on by ? The RP we were looking for was a hostage situation, that is RP, we needed you out of the car without a gun, feel like we proceeded as intended with that goal in mind

This banthread exemplifies many things that are wrong with Arma AltisLife, which we tried to communicate to you on teamspeak, but you were in a "pay me or else" fit and could simply not be communciated with. These are the reasons we think you are absolutly and unequivocally wrong in what you've stated above 1: At 23-26 seconds, you were told to put the weapons inside the car and step out without a weapon in hand, you say "Why" but you never press your "push to talk" so to us, you are simply sitting there uncopoperativly. You are then told "You have three seconds to step outside the car or we will shoot", but the last part of that is not heard given the fact that your teamspeak is cluttered. And even IF this was not said, if you dispute that we actually said it, "You have three seconds to step out of the car" is a CLEAR threat in any and every situation and any pretense to say something different is just trying to obfuscate the rules and get off on a technicallity 2: We were here because we wanted to RP, you had a perfect opportunity to make this a very fun RP situation for everyone involved by participating, but instead you are on teamspeak talking to your friends of how you can get away from this situation based on what you HAVE to agree is a technicality on if this is a threat or not. You are by doing this reflecting very poorly on the police depaartment which you represent, and will cause the server to be more of a "Loot or shoot" server in the future with your actions 3: The only thing we admitted to on teamspeak was EVEN if you were right, EVEN if he didn't say "or i will kill you", it was heavily implied by the situation, you were given ample time and still managed to botch both your communications to us (you didn't push to tealk a single time), you didn't place your weapon in the car (In your video you are not even TRYING to access the car inventory to follow our commands) OR do anything else to try to communicate with us. To us, you sat still and quiet in your car for over 15 seconds, refusing to say or do anything we said We are not saying any of this to be mean, ill tempered or to just to cause a fuzz, but this ban request is NOTHING but someone being a bad looser and showing EVERY single willingness to be uncooperative, and participating to everything we all hate about Altis....
