Matte reacted to Kebre in New server and server downtime
Soooo..
Today I was supposed to install the new server and had a good plan.
The plan was destroyed when one of the power cables was loose and all the servers went down.
This caused a RAID print some errors and the SSD seemed to be destroyed.
But I managed to fix it and all the files was saved (hurray). It was this part that took so long time.. sorry for that.
The good thing!
- I have now installed new power cables (cords?) so I can host more servers.
- I have installed new network equipment
- The new server got installed which means better performance for both Arma and Ark! Also have som resources to host other game-servers maybe ^^
Hope you understand that we did our best out of the situation and hope everything runs smoothly now

So today I'm sad to announce that I will have to take a step back before the move to Gotland since I'll start university there. I personally want to focus on my study to 100% so I will have little to no time to manage the community and push out patches. This means that I'll not be as active like I've been the last 2-3 months but when I eventually get the time to help, I will try my best to do so. But until then I have to part ways with Controversial Gaming.

Kommer ta detta på svenska eftersom jag inte pallar shitstorma på engelska. Jag är personligen extremt trött på hur ni i polisen utnyttjar Huron + Hunter. Det är okej att ni använder det på FED och kanske på Bandit.. Men att utnyttja det för att ta civs på weed field? Är ni helt väck i huvudet eller? Vet ni ens hur fult det ser ut för alla nyare spelare på servern?
Verdict: 12 hours ban for all the police involved in this situation. (In the Huron and in the Hunter.
