Arma3Life har ju stulit sin kod från Altis Life. så vi vill inte beblanda oss med dem. Dom har även laddat på en del addons och därav fler bilar än standardurvalet.

Vi vill inte forcera våra spelare att ha massa addons som behövs hålla upp-to-date (mer än Arma 3).

Så tyvärr. tillsvidare blir det inga fler bilar även om det hade vart nice och trevligt!

SAM banned for 7 days RDM + 3days Lack of RP

We dont encourage any hostile encounters unless you invest some time into it and do it properly (RP, Nice behavior etc).
This was just a douchery move.

The other issue has been resolved between you guys.

Dont drive like maniacs and try to keep the garage areas clean (goes for everywhere).

Det spelar tyvärr ingen roll hur bra rollspelare eller hur bra han uppför sig när "folk ser". Bakom kulisserna ser det lite annorlunda ut.

Vi har ju en skriven regel att om man blir bannad 1 gång och man återvänder på nytt konto så riskerar man att bli bannad även där.

Men eftersom denna situation är lite unik och många bröder involverade så har det tagit lite längre tid än vanligt.

Jag ser dock helt klart från informationen här ovan och efter min diskussion med honom igår att det är samma person.

Han försökte förövrigt läxa upp mig ang DDoS igen.

But you did everything wrong aswell. You had enough time to comply but at the same time you are not allowed to shoot tires out before the RolePlay.

Jag har tittat igenom samtliga bevis ytterliggare en gång och jag tycker ni har betett er dåligt eller panikartat.

Man får aldrig, under några omständigheter, köra över en person (inte ens om han står och skjuter på dig).

1. The unarmed ghosthawk is for scouting purposes.

But to take all cop things in the same category: The cop's are ment to be overpowered. The preferable path should always be legal activities over illegal activities.
(but with gear comes great responsibility).

2. The positioning of the flagpole is intentional, you can reach it from the window or on the balcony in a 5 meter radius.

Its ment to be hard, very hard (this is the highend).

3. Prices are according to current agenda, these are subjected to change over time. But for now everything looks like intended.

Nothing here will be changed until we have notice a significant stabilization of weapons/money on the server.
The prices are not ridiculous as you now have to invest some time to plan ahead for any aggression with a rifle or "pimped gear". If you then think this is a mmo where you can "grind gear" from other players, then Altis life is not the game for you and this will further strengthen the police gearwize to handle the threat of naked civilians with pdw's trying to "grind" them. (as this group is a minority of the total of players that we have).


But go ahead and discuss, we always listen to what people have to say, i just want to be clear whats what on these points.

Bandit district is suppose to be very hard to capture and you need a full organized gang to do so (highend).

Ive tested the capture mechanic in extent and the range is just fine (you can even stand in the window) and then the rest of your gang can set up defensive positions. The gang has to sacrifice one person to stay at the flag and keep focus on it to capture it). For the balance purpose the timer will remain at 20minutes to capture as it usually takes the police 15min to gather and set up strategy. There are some known buggs relating to dead capturing which might result in your gang getting a ban until next restart if ever used. 

The whole bandit concept is an old tonic script that is not rewritten for the new updates he made.
 

I dont have any fingers in the configuration of prices part but a hemmt box should only be used when you know you can defend it and when you have the manpower for it. Its a highend vehicle made for the richest of the riches. The regular truck was made to be the highest in the ladder for civilians, but as people grew more rich the Hemmt was added for the top cream.  But im pretty sure these prices will fluctuate alot depending on the majority of the server economy and current inventory. Its an ongoing change with small modifications to each and every price to find what fits right now.
But we can change to, we will take this information with us!

The person claiming they didnt hear anything needs to provide evidence before any action is taken against any other player by any admins.
The accusations on the other hand, they go everywhere in wast amounts. No matter how many or how few rules we have.

Nu har jag kolla på min anslutning med hjälp av bredbandskollen.se(screenshot längre ner) och uppdatera mitt DNS till Google public DNS(8.8.8.8) men problemet är fortfarande kvar men jag hittade ett litet roligt "bug", när jag är inne på den svarta skärmen så tar jag emot meddelande från andra spelare till "Admin".

 

Ye, den buggen är känd.

Vad det gäller din anslutning så säger ju inte hastigheten allt men du har tillräckligt med bandbredd.

kanske har du problem med router/switch package handling eller liknande eller om din dator kanske är bottleneck (t.ex ssd/cpu/memory). 

Vi är ju medvetna om att det tar lång tid att ta sig in (ny hårdvara på g) men du skall ej bli kickad såvida du inte är urtabbad eller får ett fel i arma processen.

annars måste du hitta om det finns crashloggar:

utöver det så finns det inte så mycket mer än att börja felsöka (t.ex testa med/utan router. arma3 på en annan dator i/utanför samma nätverk eller via annan anslutning. sedan gå vidare med det man hittar - om det visar sig vara nätverket eller datorn).

Kan även va värt att testa att skapa en helt ny arma 3 profil (om det inte gjordes i din reinstall).

Jag misstänker din anslutning eller dns. testa en annan dns (utan router, ansluten i väggen) och se om du har samma problem.

annars får du börja köra i debuggmode och posta lite loggar!

Det tar alltid lite tid för mig, men som sagt. aldrig över 12 minuter.

Wrong Database.txt setting. Or arma2net is damaged

Arma2net was de-activated when extDB arrived in a few Altis Life patches ago.

When it comes to database.txt i doubt you can have any local setting that affect your databaseconnection handled by the server.

Anyhow, just be patient. When you get to that screen during peakhours and fullpophours it can take a few minutes (ive waited up to 12minutes).

But if you get kicked during the waiting period you must know if its battleye or the game closing down and start investigation on those points.

First trick is to reinstall arma3 if you already did validate your gamecache

Secondly, try connection w/o router/switch to see if its a package issue (common with arma3 because of the weird netstack they abuse)

Vi är flera personer som diskuterar varje ban.

Just nu ser dock inte jag något ljus i tunneln för denna incident då den är för stor att ignorera.

Dupe -> försäljning av dupe -> the amount -> the moral standpoint och att folk verkar okej med det (makes me flabbergasted!)

Jag har totalt ominstalerat spelet och dessutom validerat filerna efteråt (http://gyazo.com/e4c6cbf400bef302b8541e76f8e08232) ller är det någåt annat jag ska göra? jag är inte så bra på datorer

Ominstallera spelet hjälper inte då det aktivt körts ett kommando (antingen från dig eller från tredjeparts program). Formatera om C: om du inte vet vad som orsakar problemet.

Och har även noterat att du körde "ctrlDelete" ovanpå "CreateAgent".

wtf så jag blir perma bannad för att mitt arma slutade svara när jag dog så då stängde jag ner det eftersom vad annars ska man göra.... och sen startar jag det och connectar. vad skulle jag ha gort i den situationen för att inte bli bannad?

1. Ja . anledningen till att du blev bannad är inte att klienten slutade svara utan att du blev kickad av battleye med scriptrestriction 7 (sedan orkade din dator inte det så det crashade).

2. Har du ingen aning vad som gör detta: formatera din dator eller rensa upp bland dina program/spel. det ligger saker och kör i bakgrunden (bakgrundsapplikation/memoryinjections). Posta sedan ett svar på denna post eller via PM när det är gjort.

3. Om du spelar allan så blir arg.

You are banned permanently untill other information is stated (after investigations by other admins to collaborate the findings).

But minimum of 7 days for VDM.

No, thats not allowed and gives you 7 days for VDM (+- days depending on severity)

Thats the second thing doug. but this specific ban is about executing commands that you shouldnt.

If you dont have a clue whats happening, perhaps you need a format C: and/or stop playing on weird servers and installing any thirdparty (fps boosts etc).

Tittar vi sedan i scriptfiltret så är det en "CreateAgent" vilket inte är tillåtet.

vafasiken, alla som flygit lite helikopter och läst fysik vet att du måste ha mer lyft innan du börjar med sidomomentum ;D

men thanks for headsup, det är dock högst troligt att Civilians ej får tillgång till Taru.
