Cpu:ns klockhastighet tycker jag inte att du behöver boosta, men som Goatis säger så kommer du ändå inte långt med det.

Du har en processor som klarar en stund till iallfall, så du borde köpa ett grafikkort, och lite mera RAM som VisionPie säger.
 
Men med tanke på att din dator är en OEM (alltså färdigbyggd av tillverkare(HP)) så måste du dubbelkolla att du har PCI-E strömkablar så det räcker till ditt nya grafikkort, och att nätaggregatet har tillräckligt med mos att klara av det nya grafikkortet + att du måste kolla så du har lediga RAM slots om du ska installera mer RAM.
 
Och en SSD skulle inte skada

You directly violated the New life rule, you seeked up your killers around 10minutes after the death and then killed. This is revenge. Whatever reason you have for revenging is irrelevant.

So, lets take a look at this.
Ive watched the footage provided by all parties and ive heard all versions.
 
But to debunk some stuff you guys talked about above before we proceed to prevent any further gossips to be made:
1. NLA have common practice to use markers, nothing strange at all
2. Bobbi is correct that NLA is a faction that is ment to give gangs harder times, by gamedesign
It might seem strange that Rebels and Cops can be in several incidents all over, but they have an active role with dutys supplied by Admins/Dev. This specific incident however looks very bad but might not be so bad if whats stated is true. I wasent there so my judgment is based on everything you guys have supplied so far.

But as a result of the whole situation: 
Bobbi is banned for 3 days Lack of Roleplay + RDM.  edit: Bobbi understands the situation and have been informed for future references.
Choppy was not requested to be banned by you, but i personal feel he did wrong to so i will have a 1to1 talk with him to never repeat that behavior/apology/refund this situation. If he dont accept what i have to offer, he will go the same way as bobbi for 3 days. (havent had time to talk to him just yeat).

ALTIS MECHANIC

This is something that i've been thinking about a bit. Having a or a few mechanics on the server would be something to spice up the RPing in the world. I have suggestions on how it could work and the bare minimum of stuff needed.

Mechanic

Vehicle: Tow-Truck of some sort. It is already possible to use towing if you could enable it.

Wear: Mechanics overall. I've seen it in the shop already so thats easy enough to get.

Items: A whole bunch of toolkits, preferably stored in your tow-truck so you dont have to run around with a backpack wich would look off.

Salary: Discussable, you have similar job as medics but not with access of a helicopter.

RP/Gameplay: Wearing some sort of mechanics tag, [MEK]/[MEC] Mekaniker/Mechanic while playing is crucial. The way you would get jobs should be by phone, since having a similar way as medic to see damaged cars would mess everything up visually. And getting a call for a repair-job would be much better RP-wise. People crashes vehicles all the time from my experience.
Now when you get to the spot where you got the call from you would have to make sure that the vehicle isnt in a dangerous spot like in the middle of the road before you start repairing, thus you could tow the vehicle to the side of the road if needed and then repair.
There are many possibilities to start conversations with the vehicle-owner for some great RP.

In addition mechanics would be a neutral work-force like medics and shouldnt be harmed/robbed/killed on duty, also they should have no guns of their own.
Back to the towing and repairing i think it should be allowed for a mechanic to tow unsupervised damaged cars to the nearest town and contact police for impounding. Since a damaged car with no visible owner would be impounded anyways if a police found it.


I would post example pictures and videos but i am too lazy for that right now since this is merely an idéa of mine. Im sure others have thought about it and i would like response and suggestions for what it should be like.

Request Information Name: [ATC] Harry Offender-Name: [NLA] Bobbi Date: 2015-02-10 14.40   Situation ATC and NLA had a gunfight near slavetrader where NLa tried to robb an ATC member. The situation ended with both NLA members present dying. We gathered the loot and then headed straight back to our houses (which btw, Bobbi and NLA are aware of the location, since we have had other situations in the area.) When we arrive, we land and we proceed to empty the loot in the house. When I then head to my chopper to leave, I hear a voice, I start running and I die.    So Bobbi, after dying at slavetrader, gathered gear then instantly went to the housing area where he knew we would go. This directly interferes with the "New Life Rule" - If you die during roleplay your past crimes are forgotten, but you also cannot seek revenge.   NLA is a rebel faction, they control the big picture and that they would just randomly stroll around and by coincidence, be in the city we land in, 10 minutes after they died, and also, randomly decide to robb that person. With no connections to any legal or illegal activity. NLA has made it clear that they are not a bandit gang that goes around and robb people just for fun.     Another strange thing, instead of trying to roleplay, for example texting me or my friends saying that they would let us buy back the mohawk if we divert our business (which we had none as we were doing nothing in a small town) to their iland for exampel.  But no, they went straight to the chopchop without sending anything.Seems like a strange thing to do from a roleplay perspective.   From a robbery perspective this seems strange aswell, as the trading company value their vehicles highly and would pay to get them back. A robbery goes out on getting loot and denying people to buy their stuff back are usually done when the people in question are angry with the ones they robbed, however, NLA had nothing to be angry about as they were both in a new life. They had nothing "otalt" with me/ATC.    What Bobbi did was nothing but a break of the new life rule. It was an impulse of being frustrated in loosing a rahim (that the NLA faction newly got back to shops.)
The behaviour of lashing out and breaking rules because you loose some gear should not be allowed, especially not from an NLA member, a faction member there to contribute with more than just PVP to the server. This is not Bobbi's first banrequest or ban, he should be fully aware of to act, with his immense amount of hours on the server.    EVIDENCE: Video will be sent to admins, due to the locations exposed we've decided to not show our 15min long video to the public. The video Bobbi provided will also work as evidence.

It sure looks that you know exactly were you are going, but i can be wrong.
 
I do have to be suspicious against anything that seems out of place.

I really don't know but it should be 200h+ over a period of 6-8 weeks!?
My record is 20h without any breaks or pauses (ate once though). Liberatore was amazed.
So I don't think my in game time will be a problem.

How long have you played Arma 3?
Since the Alpha, and for 770 hours according to Steam.
But more importantly is probably my history in Arma 2 which I estimate to 2000h+.
(I can't look it up since I used a launcher instead of Steam. )

Anyways, I have played Warfare, CTI (Gossamer and BECTI mostly), Life (both with and without database support) as
bandit, terrorist, cop (miss the dogs :/), fabricator (fun word) and other RP roles.
Insurgency, and stuff like that. The list is long, can't remember all the different modes and mods. (Big fan of ACE 2 btw.)
I'm also a big fan of BIS and was hooked when the original Operation Flashpoint was released a long time ago.
Testing, scripting, modding and so on are pretty fun too even though ArmA is a mess to work with. At least for me.

Well, what can I say... I'm a Swedish fella' that like a lot of different things in life. More importantly gaming and
Arma 3. My age is somewhat a sensitive matter but let's say I'm 25+ but not 30. No more question about that please.

I'm now handing over my application to the A.P.D since I am tired of being a honest and hard working civilian.
And I know how hard it is to make a living without a gang I will do my best to protect and to serve
the poor civilians on Altis. I would like to patrol problem areas like highway checkpoints and traders.
I want to be present where the civs are rather that waiting for the FED to be robbed. I prefer to save lives and put bandits into jail rather than killing. But sometimes a man gotta do what a man gotta do.

I have noticed that Altis is an unfair place today for the common civillian and i know that everyone out there could use a helping hand, i have also seen that we have had 2 attemps of starting something like a PMC group but our rules have not allowed it.
What i am thinking is turning it into a Faction and it can therefore operate above the gang rules and assist other gangs to assist the civi* llians in their ordinary life.
 
I want to bring some balance to Altis, everyone does not have major gangs to protect them or the gunpower to protect themselves from cops and rebells, ofcourse there will be bounderies on what can be done and what can't be done and i am writing this in order to present as much as i can. I will gladly take every opinion and answer every question you may have on Teamspeak.
 
What is PMC?
 
PMC are Military Contractors who operate as an independant force, what is special about a PMC crew is that they are avaliable to Hire for the right amount of money! This means that everyone may contact them and try to setup a contract between themselves and the PMC group. For example you might need protection when transporting precious cargo from point A to point B and you pay them to assist you.
 
Who would be a part of PMC?
 
People are always free to show interest in joining but in the end only people who have showed themselves true RP characters and gained the trust to carry out a role like this will get one. To make PMC work we need to have a certain stability in the group and i need to make sure that the PMC follows the rules that they have to operate by.
 
What kind of Jobs would the PMC have?

I was thinking that only civs should be able to do so, maybe the cops aswell to a certain point? Please give feedback on this how you want it.
We want to help the common civillian but we also want to make some money and therefore we would take any contract we can that is in the frames of Roleplay and the server rules! The NLA will not be able to Hire PMC for now but that does not make us hostiles. PMC always keeps an open dialog as long as mutual respect is shown from both parties.
 
 
How much would they cost to hire?
 
I was thinking about doing a roleplay scenario where the PMC has access to the Government database and therefore get an estimated number of the customers bank. With the bank in concern we would setup a price that would be suiting for just that person.
Gangmembers would automaticaly have to pay more since they have a gang to watch their back and is not in the great need of protection that ordinary workers is.
I would arrange a pricelist that would go on the forum along with other Public info on how to contact us and such. 
 
What rules would the PMC have?
 
We would have to obey by the server rules like everyone else but we would have to operate above a couple of rules in order to make this work obviously. But as i said we would have to follow the rules like the rest of you. I will also keep an open dialog after releasing the official faction rules and if you have question about rules i would be willing to discuss them and tweak them if needed!
This faction would be started from 0 and some rules may not be perfect at the beginning and feedback is always wanted as long as it's not in the "Negative without an actual point"-style.
 
Why i am doing this.
 
I am doing this for the community, i have listen and observed to everything you have said to me over the last couple of weeks and people think that civillian have no chance against the NLA and APD because they are well organised and also have better guns and equipment and this is your chance to make something about this. At first this would not be the most exciting gameplay but i would still go through  with this idea in order to make the server even more fun and so would everyone else that i would recruit!
Also i want to push the server to it's limits when it comes to roleplay!

So, we discussed on TeamSpeak yesterday (or this morning) about Arma 3, vehicles and bullet penetration. Since I've done some testing in the editor with different weapons (yes, I like stuff like that) I've found some strange behavior when it comes to vehicles (to start with).
 
This first test is done in the editor with the MK18 against some common vehicles in Altis Life with a script that shows the bullet trajectories. Red means the bullet will inflict max to 75% damage and the color change represents the damage fall. So enjoy! And do note the SUV, the windshield is very tough. Also, what's done in the editor is not always true on the server. I may or may not upload more depending on the feedback and your interest.
