    Uppenbarligen så utgår jag ju bara ifrån poliser som faktiskt ansöker, är medveten om att det finns fler än dem nuvarande whitelistade på servern som klarar av det, MEN problemet sitter i att dem som väl ansöker inte håller dem standardkrav som vi vill ha inom APD. Och kollar man då på att sänka dessa krav så kommer det i sin tur skada roleplayandet och vi hamnar då ÄNDÅ i en "skjuta/råna/döda"  era på servern. 
     

    Hur kan jag då veta det? För att det var precis vad som hände sist vi valde att sänka kraven och ge fler en chans.

    Just a list of people i find worthy of the police force. They show great rp ingame and are very skilled. still their application got declined. (but what do i know, mabie its more regulated/harder to becoming a cop now)

    1) Follow orders from the higher ranking officers
    2) Never break roleplay, aswell as knowing how to properly roleplay.
    3) To be able to keep your head calm in hectis situatations
    4) Have good comunication with your colleagues, and other civillians.

    To protect citizents if Altis, stop criminality and keep the streets clean of drugs and illegal guns.

     

    Why should we pick YOU as a police officer?

    Now that N.L.A is back on Altis i feel its my responsibility to keep the inhabitants of Altis safe in the growing amount of terrorists and hostile gang personell. With the constant growth of terror and fear spreading through Altis among the lawfull citizens, i feel like its my duty to help them out. I have been playing as a civillian and been playing in a variety of gangs and i felt like i didn't get to roleplay as much as i wanted, since when your in a gang, most at the time your fighting and robbing others. I feel like i got allot to bring to the table.

     

    What do you hope to achieve if you become a police officer?:
    I want to achive better roleplay that i normally get while playing as a civillian/in a gang, meet new people and make new friends!. When you're playing in a gang it is harder to roleplay with other persons since people want fight and get gear. 

     

    What is your input on respect, loyalty, and rule enforcement?:

    Showing respect and loyalty is what i define as one of the most important things in life. As a polic officer i think it's eccential to comunicate and respect other civillians/players on this server and learn how to co-operate with them. We have to be loyal towards others and keep what we promise as well as follow the rules to make the gaming experience better for everyone.
     

    Why are the police faction important?

    The police faction is so important, because they are the ones that make sure laws are being followed as well as keeping the streets clear of criminality, drugs and illegal weapon. Without the police force civillians would be frightened to even step outside a safezone without the constant fear of their lifes.

     

    What do you personally think that the police faction would need to become better?
    Its hard for me to answer this, since i haven't played as a cop on this server, but personally im very pleased with the P.D at the moment, but i feel like it needs a bit more players.

    Well, my name is Hallvard and im 17 years old (i turn 18 in 10.Feburary). I live in Bergen/Norway and my favorite thing to do in my sparetime is to play videogames. I have played on Cvgaming and on the original Arma 3 Life mord. I mostly play arma 3, but i also play CSGO and LOL. I speak English ingame so it is easier for people to understand what im saying, because im Norweagian and I know that some swedes find Norweagian to be a hard language to understand. I go to school and some weeks i get allot of tests and assigntments that i have to do, so on some weekdays i won't be as active, but im always online in the weekends.     @Lallish I have played on this server since juni 2013 and have been playing on and off ever since, i got over 500 hours just on cvg and have been playing under quite a few gamertags. Im best known as Hallvard or Hallvardo.

    That's correct carpen said: " jag vill inte ha något meningslöst mothugg eller ens ett svar från er" and still Thorsten and Kirlsson are still responding with memes. "they hate us cuz they ain't us" Correct me if im wrong, but thats a response. Same goes with Thorsten. I dont understand why they're making fun of a thread where cAREPEN explains how he feels about the situation.

    I dont understand why you are so BM, i know about the situation completely and i haven't been playing so much lately, since im farming mostly with a mohawk which means i can only farm at 7'-9 clock in the morning. (i only play on weekends, as i have so much schoolwork to do), before the big gangs log on and fly around scouting on who to rob.. You don't understand what it's like farming and playing as a civ now a days, and on all of my hours farming, i've never seen you farm. 

    Its so fun farming for 40 minutes and everytime you sell, you see someone coming with an hatchback sport getting closer to drug dealer, and you just sit there, panic, and wait for surrender or die. 

    "sluta skriva om du inte ens vet om hela sitationen" i do know it, and it have made people i know quit, pause and not play as much, because SC finds it hard to roleplay.

    A twist that would be great imo, would be that instead if having premade teams, the teams and who is on the teams is picked random, either we have someone picking out the teams, or we have raffle of who is on the other teams, i feel like this would increase the teamwork and help meeting new people :D. Just a thought tho.

    I don't see how wiping the server will distribute to worse roleplay, i really don't, with the server wiped no one would run around with katiba's, mx's and mk18's screaming surrender or die. It would be more fair since everyone would start even off. And if you would get robbed it would be rook vs rook so it would be much more of a skill matchup. People would be more eger to use their gear, in fear of loosing it and people would start farming together. Farming is something you dont HAVE to do, but people do it to increase their buying capital. In my eyes the server consists of civillians/new players farming, bigger gangs lurking/camping/robbing, and the factions to keep order and more indepth gameplay. 

    To round this post off i people having allot of gear/money isn't the big problem, it's that the difference in capital between the players are WAAAAAY to big.

    (about the silencers, the people bitching about supressors just shows how much they're intro roleplaying and into changes. I know that people have allot of money invested in silencers. Removing the silencers increase both counterplay and increases the tactical gameplay. Now people will have to plan out when their about to engage/rob at nighttime + moove postions after they've shot)

    I hope you don't mind if i slant a little info about how i feel of the whole situatuon into the discussion. A little bit of background information first, i started playing on this server summer of 2014 and played every weekend and most every weekday until Christmas, where i later took a break from arma.

    When i started off playing on this server (dont specifically remember the patch, but cocain field were close to kavala checkpoint and cv-d was one of the few gangs), most people were playing as a civillian and were driving around farming. Whenever and wherever you would go you could see people farming everywhere, and most of them were friendly as it was kind off a norm like if "i scratch your back, you'll scratch mine". Whenever you encountered any civs or gangs people were almost always chit chatting while you were gathering. If you were knew people would take you under their wing and help you out, and thats when us civillians started to drive in convoys. Since most of the guys on the server were civillians running around with rooks we found out that it was way safer to drive in convoys so it would be harder for us to get robbed by greater gangs or pulled over by the po-po (police). If there was anyone robbing people on process/dealer/trader people would hold an urge against them and encounter them carefully. It was like if someone was in trouble people would instantly go and help them out, either that ment them making it out dead or alive. 

    Releplaying were 10/10, there was such great roleplay because you would encounter so many new people as you were testing out new routs and better ways of making money. 99% of where you would go you would run into someone. And people werent in fear of getting robbed as often when there already was someone on the field, they would ask you to holster your weapon then come over to you and start talking/roleplaying. Instead of driving off as soon as possible, people asked if you needed help filling up your truck or wanted them to wait for them. I remember making allot of friends. When you were driving routs between Field, Process and Dealer you could chill out and listen to the AWESOME music on the cvgaming radio. Which was a radio in every car where most of the known people had gotten their own songs built in. So when you were late night farming you could just turn on the radio, sit back and enjoy the ride. You could actually lay back and enjoy since you didnt need to worry about getting robbed, since you were more people with rooks in, convoy OP. 

    After farming for a while you could eventually invest in a more luxuary viacle such as the orca where you only had to pay 800k if i remember correctly and it could store up to 200 units. This made farming really easily, but people werent running around fully geared therefore, nono. Gear was something which was very expencive and there was only a few civiallians who dared to use it. As you were getting to know your way around, one could now start doing more risky stuff, by risky i mean illegal like cocain and weed. I remember really well when i was doing weed runs with my orca and i refused to pay taxes to the A.A.F and they got me blacklisted. I remember to be on my toes and where to go and not go as i was scouting around in my heli. Often i had unprocessed coain in my truck, but saw A.A.F checking out Cocain process so i had to remove the cocain and do other things. This made the game really rewarding i feel like, it would take a bit longer but when you eventually sold your drugs and banked the money the saticfaction was real. 

    I feel like the server today is controlled by the biggest gangs camping illegal processing waiting for people to arrive and then screaming "surrender or die",and since most people are in a gang now a days, the old convoy is gone. Farming alone is very hard as a civililan, because if you dont get robbed, you either get stopped by the police when doing illegal stuff, then stopped by the rebels when doing the lower pay out "legal stuff". I feel like its hard to competete with the bigger clans even if you make your own. 

    What would i fix? 

    I agree with Wirre now that N.L.F is back they should be able to blacklist people and gangs, since for a while the only thing big gangs have been doing is taking over the Bandit Store. Blacklisting gangs/civs would make it easier for HRA to regain controll and power. I also feel like the illegal gun shop should be removed, so if you wanna buy guns you had to roleplay it out. Another problem is the absurd amount of money civillians have not only in their bank, but also in gear/houses. I feel like the server needs a wipe, but i know why people don't want this, it would probably get allot of people to leave, 

    As afriel said getting the server back on a 1 year old patch wont fix anything, i think the major thing which has changed is the mindset of the individual player and how easy it is to get good gear. With great amount of money there is no reason to farm, and robbing becomes more viable since people find it more "fun". Im also getting tired of the "surrender or die", as its the easiest way to get a ticket to shoot someone without getting banned. I feel like if more people would start saying things like: "can you put your hands up for me" and then continue roleplaying on. It would be great if people instead of taking their gear and stealing their cash, they would take them as a hostage for example to get an edge later on.

    I have absolutely fell inlove in this server, even though im norweagian (oljepenger masterrace) :x  and i wanna say thanks to all the people who keeps playing and making it really fun each time i log on. (My apoligi for not making this reply 100% fact related.)
