Förslag ifrån B

Hello admins, players and members of cvgaming.

Here is some suggestions that me fellow members of B has been thinking of.

 

Stuff we want to see change.

1. Fix buglooting.

What is buglooting? 

Buglooting is when you bug yourself in to someones house and steal all the loot in the chest(s). This means all of your loot gets lost and most of the times you can't get a refund unless you have your loot on record. 

The fix? I (Humle) suggest logs as the fix for this. How would this logs work? Let's say i bugloot someones house. The logs would record me opening the box and i would get banned as soon as the player in the house notices that someting is missing. The logs would record and save my name, id and perhaps ip.  

2. Fix kick bug. This bug kicks you randomly from the server which leads to loss of gear and can lead to loss of a vehicle (heli, airplane etc). 

3. Balance the farming and fix the worthless farm.

As Devious previously stated Right now everybody either does cocaine with airplane or guns with helicopter. Perhaps make farming with truck such ass HEMTT or ZAMAK more profitable since it takes more commitment compared to airplane or heli. 

4. Create a casino!

This would be a fun option to making money and would give some more option to just farming or robbing. I would suggest Blackjack or roulette since i know there is already made up scripts.

5. Add more stuff to ganghideout. 

Someting fun that would make a difference ingame in playstyles (sniping, cqb etc) and would be new guns, clothing and attachments to guns.

some suggestions i have:

DMS (sight).

Ghillie suit (expensive asf ofc)

TRG-21?

SPAR-16?

Not an admin but I just wanted to share my opinion regarding your post either way.

 

Having logs for every single thing you move out of a container would be an extreme effort to keep track of unless you somehow managed to exclude everyone moving loot out of their own boxes. However, I dont know if buglooting is such a frequent issue that it would be worth making a script dedicated to just this purpose. If it is a script that is easily made and implemented it might be worth it, but I am no coding expert within arma.

 

The kick bug: Good point, not sure if it is serversided or if it is something to do with arma itself. Developers might know better than me here.

Farming routes: Legal farming routes has always been a way for new players to make money and are supposed to be "low risk low reward".

I agree that they could buff opium and bomb making a little bit, but theyre not too bad actually. If you plan a route and maybe store the processed goods in your house, it might actually be worthwhile. 

Weed also got introduced this patch, so that will also most likely be a good alternative.

Ganghideout: Lets not add more stuff to ganghideout. It is a shop for low end gear, we do not need broken and overpowered gear compared to the rest of the weapons thats already available through killing a highly ranked officers/rebels; in a shop. You can already get this at the crypto blackmarket anyways, just seems like a shortcut if you ask me. Regarding ghilie suit, i think someones mentioned (unsure of who) that they will never come back to CvG. Correct me if I am wrong here! Maybe the trg-21 could go thru though, dont think anyone would have a problem with that.

I think some of these things are already in the developers sight and people are looking into how stuff like this can be solved.

One thing i react to is your suggestion about the DMS sight, sure its a really good sight but you have to think about the big picture, do we really want to take back those really long range fights with people sniping from 1km+ away? and especially with the silencers brought back to the server it would be nearly impossible to know where the shots are coming from, contributing to a frustrating and ''empty'' style of gameplay.

DMS is a fun sight, but in the long run when everyone has 10 of them, the sniper fights will ensue and thats where the fun ends, atleast in my opinion.

And people can argue that they should be put on high faction ranks or whatever to restrict them, but its going to be the same thing anyway, it will only take a little longer for everyone to get their hands on them, but people will 100% have them in the end.

Good point darwin. I was thinking it being really expensive and rare.

Well, right now the only good illegal routes are cocaine, spice and bombs are far worse than olives and iron... (I havent tried weed runs, perhaps they are good.)

It will end up just like the ghillies last year, even if a cop dies with one, there will be civs that dupe them untill they are casual gear.

Perhaps make CVcoins better instead of putting more things in hideouts as well.

While this is very true, it is always very lowkey routes with a low chance of robbery and a fairly good reward. :=)

Nothing really stops you from putting a DMS on a 6.5 if its in the game :P

I came up with something more. Perhaps 2 of the chopchops and make a special one for airplanes and helicopters. This would make it harder to chopchop others vehicle. Why should we make it harder? Because chopchop removes the vehicle fully even if you have insurance. This is op asf in my opinion.

En vanlig fight på bandit i dagsläget ser ut som att vi cappar, köper inte direkt, för det finns ingen atm i ghost hotel. Och det slutar i att vi har suttit i hotellet i den tiden vi får sen måste vi pusha ut, där poliserna åker runt med 2 hunters och en ghawk. Det slutar självklart med att polisen plockar oss då det bara finns 2st vägar ut. Finns inget gäng som kan klara det här banditet. Speciellt om det inte finns atm i huset.

så mitt förslag är att flytta bandit helt, dra den till en ny plats på kartan eller så får ni tweaka regler lite så polisen inte bara väntar ut tiden å sen dödar när man pushar ut.

det gamla bandit vid airstripen nere vid cocain process var absolut ett bra bandit. Men jag tror att vi alla vill ha ett helt nytt om ni nu har tid och lust att bygga ihop ett mer fair bandit!

edit: är väl medveten om att bandit ska vara high risk high reward, men i dagsläget är bandit inte möjligt även om ni sätter in de bästa spelarna i huset mot 13 poliser med hunters och ghosthawk

Lite bump på tråden igen. Håller helt med. Polisen åker omkring med ghosthawk och hunters samt att NLA och andra gäng kommer dit. Finns inte en chans för ett gang att klara av bandit

Vill också lägga till en sak som jag personligen saknar vilket var skiten där man såg HP, Mat, Vatten med siffror samt om du var wanted eller inte, kanske en skit grej men men :P

Härligt nu blev man bugglootad igen torskade gear värt runt 2 mille. Förstår att det inte bara är att skriva ett script på 1 sekund men det är något som verkligen behövs patchas... om ni behöver hjälp så kan jag erbjuda mig som testkanin. Har lite erfarenhet av C# om ni skulle behöva hjälp med kod.

Har kontaktat admin tidigare. Men detta torskade jag igår:

*MK-18 o mags

*Lvl 3 väst

*MXM 6.5 samt o några 6.5mm mags.

* 1 lvl 2 police väst

Fattar inte varför dom inte tog allt. Hade kvar det mesta förutom dom.
